Happy 4th Birthday Keegan!

March 21 marked Keegan's 4th birthday.  Wow!  We had a wonderful party for her on St. Patrick's Day (of course, Ryan made a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner for everyone) with a mermaid theme.  The weather was unseasonably warm and beautiful...the day was perfect!  Enjoy the pictures:

The birthday girl!  She was so excited for her party!
Some of the treats at her party--the bubbles were a real hit with the kids!

We decorated the back room with mermaids and under the sea decor!

I think they were dancing for the photographer!

Regina and her usual silliness!

More dancing and more sillies!
"She's just a kid who's 4, each day she grows some more...she's Keegan!"

Please Pray for Ivy

I have been following this family's blog of their adoption journey, and am thinking and praying for this family daily.  Today is Keegan's 4th birthday party, and I just can't imagine that the complete happiness and excitement in our home this morning, is met with such anxiety and sadness in this family's home.  Please join me in prayer that Ivy makes it through the next ten days, and a perfectly sized heart comes through for her.

St. Paddy's Day Parade

Took the girls to the St. Patrick's Day Parade, the northwest side version.  In true Irish fashion, lots of green, lots of alcohol, lots of begging in the streets!  I have to admit, I'm not much of a parade fan, so I was a little on the reluctant side, but the weather was so great, I was happy just to be out in the warmth!  It ended up being a great time, we all had fun!

We forgot our beer, but the folks in the background did not!

As usual, Regina being silly!
